This was great. I have many memories of that place, even though I was only 13 when it closed. We all heard stories. But I did not know Gunther was a suspect in the Pratt murder! Mind. Blown.
This place was terrifying to pass as a wee Punk Rock lass. Those kids gave zero fucks and would beat you up without a second thought. If I was alone, I would walk around the other side of the block to reach the Showbox.
